Dayle Levine

Director-at-Large (Emeritus)

Dayle’s affiliation with tennis started 35 years ago. As a certified coach she taught for the City of North York, North York Tennis Association (NYTA) and was the assistant varsity coach, York University from 1991-1994. Her volunteering commenced with Bayview Village Tennis Club (1987); where she served its membership for nine years in various positions, culminating as President.

From 1993-2005, Dayle was a member of the NYTA’s Board of Directors. She chaired the Daniel Nestor TennisFest and was a member of the By-Law Committee, the Junior Development Committee and the City/Provincial Relations Committee. From 2005-2008, she was ex-officio Special Advisor to the Board.

Dayle joined the Ontario Tennis Association’s (OTA) Board of Directors in 1994 and has sat in a variety of capacities inclusive of Vice-President, Membership and Regional Development Committee (1994–1997), Vice-President, Finance and Administration (1998), Director-At-Large (1997, 1999-2021). While serving as Director-At-Large, Dayle chaired the U9 Gala Committee, sat on the Executive Director Hiring Committee, served as Harassment Officer, developed policies, and a member of both the Distinguished Service Award and the 100th Year Anniversary Committees.

From 2005–2007, she served on the Ontario Provincial Sport Organizations Council. Dayle joined Ryerson University where she holds the position of Manager, Institutional Projects, Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation. Her portfolio includes the management of strategic institutional federal and provincial research granting programs. She also serves as Vice-President on a local charity’s board and enjoys reading, cooking/baking and walking her dog Cinnamon.
