About the Tennis Professionals Association (TPA)

The TPA is a member-based association devoted to growing the profession of tennis coaching throughout Canada. The TPA was developed by Tennis Canada for Canadian certified Instructors, Coaches, and Club Professionals. Since its inception in 2004, the TPA has grown from 800 members to over 3300.

Mission

To support our members in their contribution to the growth of tennis in Canada.

Purpose

To grow the sport and profession of tennis throughout Canada, by providing certification, professional development and services to members. 

Use of Funds

All funds raised from the membership will go directly back into coaching development, including:

  • Operation of the TPA
  • Development of coaching-related resources
  • Professional development opportunities including conferences and seminars
  • Training of coaches through the certification program (club pro stream and coaching stream)
  • Improving communication with instructors, coaches and pros in Canada

About the CAO 

The Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO) is an independent, non-profit organization that supports coaches from community level to high performance across all sports in Ontario. The CAO's mission is to deliver coaching programs and services that develop competent and certified coaches.

What Can the CAO Do For You

The CAO works to provide coach development, funding opportunities, and events to provide support, recognition and representation for all coaches in Ontario. The Coaches Association of Ontario serves the needs of coaches to create an exceptional, safe and positive experience for all athletes and participants at every stage of their sport participation.
