Yonex U14/U18 Junior Indoor Provincials Results!

The Yonex U14/U18 Junior Indoor Provincials tournament wrapped up last week at Sobeys Stadium in Toronto. The Girls U14 Singles final was won by the second seed, Andrea Cabio (above, 3rd left). She defeated top-seeded Andrea Taylor (above, right) 6-3, 7-5. Also pictured, 5th place finisher, Lily Rochon (above, left), and 6th place finisher Jasmine Li (above 2nd left), 6-1, 6-4. U18 Girls Singles results: Anastasia Kavounov (top-seeded, above 2nd right), won by walkover against the top-seeded Bianca Ceroni (unseeded, above centre), due to injury. In the 3rd/4th place match-up, Katherine Zhang (not pictured) defeated Emma Tutoveanu (above, left), 6-4, 1-6, 10-7. In the 5th/6th place match, Amina Sagadiyeva (above right) defeated Brook Feth (above, 2nd left), 6-3, 5-7, 10-7.

U14 Boys Singles results: Joseph Cunha (#8 seed, above 2nd right), def. Brayden Woo (#3 seed, above right), 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 in the final. In the 3rd/4th place match, Aiden Malik (above left), defeated Jaden Mitrovic (not pictured), Also pictured, 6th place finisher Morris Cheong Tang (above second left).

U18 Boys Singles results: Winston Zhang (#7 seed centre), def. Alec Anghel (#3 seed, above 2nd right) in the final, 6-3, 6-2. In the 3rd/4th place match, Dani Szabo (not pictured), defeated Hans Deng (above left), 2-6, 6-1, 1-0(10). Also pictured, 5th place finisher, Aiden Wang-Fan (above 2nd left) and 6th place finisher Dan Caragea (above right).
