Fischer Junior Indoor Nationals Results

The Fischer Junior Indoor Nationals were held recently in Toronto, Vancouver, Verdun and Calgary. Congratulations to Team Ontario player Nadia Lagaev who was crowned U18 Girls Singles Champion! There were many other great results for Team Ontario players as well. For the U12 event, Tennis Canada tested a new National Team Cup competition involving a singles round robin, with the players divided into eight groups each for the boys and girls, with doubles elimination draws and a new team competition with on-court coaching and fair-play initiatives. Ontario players finished in the top spot in 5 out of 16 groups in singles action.
