Tennis ROCKS Festival (2023)
What is Tennis ROCKS?
A three-way partnership with the Intercounty Tennis Association, Ontario Tennis Association and Tennis Canada has teamed up to present the Tennis ROCKS Festival for Junior players from around the GTA. This year’s festival will have FIVE Host Sites along with the chance to qualify and play at the Sobeys Stadium. Food, Prizes, Giveaways, Smash Cage and some fantastic tennis awaits players, parents and fans!
Festival Details
Dates and Locations:
- Unionville Tennis Club – Saturday, July 15
- North York Tennis Club – Saturday, July 22
- Newmarket Tennis Club – Saturday, July 29
- Burlington Tennis Club – Saturday, August 12
- Ajax Tennis Club – Saturday, August 19
- Tennis ROCKS Championships - will take place in September at the Sobeys Stadium
How to Register a Team:
- Complete the attached ENTRY form and email to juniors@intercountytennis.com
- Team Entry Fee: $100 HST included (minimum 4 and maximum 6 players) includes LUNCH
- Monies will be refunded if the event is rained out.
- Payment: Please contact Todd Orrett for payment details at juniors@intercountytennis.com
Waves of Play and Team Composition:
- SUPER STARS TEAM: 4-6 U12 (Gender Neutral) players
- ALL STARS TEAM: 2-3 U14 + 2-3 U18 (Gender Neutral) players
Other Information:
- ICTA will set up draws, schedule play, track results (each team guaranteed 3 matches)
- ICTA, OTA and Tennis Canada will award prizes to all players
- A volunteer committee will be set up to help oversee competition
- Food and drinks will be provided FREE of charge
