“Feel, Play, Experience…150 Years of History, Technological Evolution and the Art of Tennis and Racquet Sports”

“The Tennis Museum”, is a new unique venture owned and promoted by Miguel Cysneiros, an Ontario Tennis professional coach and club tennis director. He has been a TPA member for over 40 years.

Miguel’s Tennis Museum is a rare tennis collection of international dimensions - likely the largest in Canada - and features 150 Years of the history, evolution, culture and technology of tennis and other racquet sports from their very beginnings to the present time. These exceptional museum collections include over 6000 quality historic racquets and artifacts, equipment and accessories, books and art, jewellery and  silverware, porcelains and glass, court and club equipment, clothing and fashion from all tennis eras. Their origins span over 40 countries, with participation of fans and players from 25 nationalities.

Miguel’s vision and mission goals are to be the first Tennis Museum in Canada and tell the story of World and Canadian Tennis.

His present priority for the museum project is to find the partners and sponsors to establish and host a permanent museum home site! He wants to offer visitors and tennis fans of all ages and interests an exciting, hands-on immersive experience of the game and its history!

For information on the Tennis Museum, opportunities in partnering, sponsoring, or contributing to this initiative, please contact Miguel Cysneiros (links below). The Tennis Museum will also accept selected equipment donations.
