2019 Mayfair Toronto Pro League

2019 Mayfair Toronto Pro League

The 2019 Mayfair Toronto Pro League (MTPL) is proudly in its third year and is the only Professional Tennis prize money league in all of Canada. It includes 56 of the GTA’s top tennis professionals, former NCAA & CIS players, and the occasional ATP player, battling it out for the #1 position.

The MTPL will run from September to December and is structured to offer a world class experience with extremely high caliber competitive tennis in an exciting and entertaining atmosphere for fans, spectators and sponsors.

New this year: there will be four teams in the league with four lines of doubles. There will be a maximum of 14 players on each team. Each team has a designated captain and is owned by a corporate sponsor.

There are 7 league events during which each team will play each opposing team twice. The league will conclude with a final event to determine 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. All matches will take place at Mayfair Lakeshore, every other Friday evening, starting in late September.

Players who are interested in applying to play in the 2019 MTPL can submit their name, current playing level and tennis background information to Ken Crosina at – no later than Sunday August 18th. If accepted, the league fee for players is $100.

Teams will be determined by an official draft process that will include all players that applied to play. The Player and Team draft will take place on Thursday August 22nd, 2019 and communication will follow shortly after.

We are thrilled to have George Fischer Photography back as our 2019 Mayfair Toronto Pro League Presenting Sponsor, Downtown Automotive Group as our 2019 Official Vehicle Partner and OleivaAuthentic Asset Management and Baird MacGregor as our 2019 MTPL Team Owners. We would also like to welcome our 2019 Official Apparel Partner, Let’s Go Athletics, as well as a new Team Owner, West Toronto Foot and Ankle Clinic.

The sponsors and players will enjoy center stage for the entire season. Along with an MC to energize the audience, introduce the players and promote our sponsors, there is the official Mayfair Toronto Pro League website and social media to create even more excitement.

Each league night features a special on-court set-up to ensure optimum viewing for all four matches. Spectators will enjoy court side stadium seating, satellite food & beverage service, and the option to take part in numerous sponsor activities throughout the evening.

It is FREE to come and enjoy the festivities and the best tennis, after the Rogers Cup.

Whether a player, a spectator, or a sponsor… you will love the Mayfair Toronto Pro League!
