Covid-19 Status Update – Indoor Tennis to Resume January 31st in Ontario (January 21, 2022)
Covid-19 Status Update – OTA Offices (January 5, 2022)
Effective January 5, 2022, at 12:01 a.m., Ontario is temporarily moving into Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen with modifications. As a result of this action, the Aviva Centre, including the Ontario Tennis Association (OTA) offices, Tennis Canada offices, fitness room and tennis courts will be closed until further notice.
Additional information on the mandated public health lockdown can be found here.
OTA staff will continue to work remotely and can be reached via individual emails and telephone numbers (click here for staff listings). For general inquiries, email ota@tennisontario.com. All OTA sanctioned tournaments, activities and outreach events are cancelled until further notice.
The OTA staff is sympathetic to the hardships that the latest Government of Ontario announcements have caused some of our member clubs, players and pros. As such, we will continue to monitor the Ontario Government’s Covid-19 protocol updates, and liaise with appropriate government agencies. Updates will be posted on www.tennisontario.com under the 'COVID-19' tab as soon as new information concerning Covid-19 protocol updates, as they pertain to tennis facilities/coaches/players, become available.
