Grimsby Tennis Club Charity Event

On Saturday August 12th, the Grimsby Tennis Club is hosting an exciting charity Tennis event / Tournament. The first part of the day starting at 10 a.m. there will be a demonstration from a very inspirational professional Wheelchair Tennis Player, Gary Luker. He has been ranked 3rd in Canada and 30th in the world for his division.

After the demonstration Gillian Cruz (pictured above, with her son Landon) will be speaking about her journey transitioning to wheelchair tennis after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerorsis (MS).

Bob Bentley, Mayor of the Town of Grimsby, along with other Community Partners will also be in attendance in support of this very worthy cause and event. There will be approximately 20 to 30 Grimsby Tennis Club members playing in the tournament. All proceeds will go directly to the Wheelchair Tennis division of the Ontario Wheelchair Sports Association (OWSA).

Please come out and support - The event is open to all!
