Girls. Set. Match. Events at the NBO!

The OTA, in partnership with Tennis Canada and led by Girls. Set. Match. (GSM) coordinator Ashley Spironello hosted two events this week at the NBO in Toronto. The first one was a full GSM session on the practice courts at Sobeys Stadium. Twelve young girls from a previous GSM event at Orangeville Tennis Club participated in the event and had a surprise guest show up for pictures and sign autographs: Iga Świątek! Iga (above, back row centre) and her team were very impressed with the program supporting girls and took time to sign something for all of them. The girls took away some life long memories! 

On another day, several young girls from Headwaters Fitness & Racquet Club, again led by Ashley, did a GSM demo on Centre Court, prior to a tournament match.
