Nike Transition Tour Events

The Nike Transition Tour Circuit continues with 2 stops this weekend; ACE @ Hillfield Strathallan College in Hamilton and Perth Tay Tennis Club in Perth. Over 60 U12 and U14 players will be battling in out in singles action.

The Nike Transition Tour Circuit is a 2-star series that was created to allow players in the early stages of their competitive career to test their skills against players of a similar level. It is open to all players in the U12 or U14 categories who are ranked below the top 30 in their age group. The Circuit will continue all summer with a Masters’ final planned in September for the top 16 in each age category. Watch out for an updated leaderboard after this weekend’s tournaments!

Milton TC Celebrating 100th!

Established in 1923 on Main Street (pictured here), the Milton Tennis Club is turning 100 this season!  In 1969, the Club moved to Rotary Park off Mill Street. 1983 saw a third location, 670 Childs Drive. In August of 2003, play began at our present location, 800 Santa Maria Boulevard.

Congratulations to the generations of volunteers who have kept the courts in play and the club as a constant contributor to sport in the Milton community.

All members, past and present are asked to mark their calendars for June 17 when the club plans to officially celebrate. Bring your friends and family!

Stay tuned to SPIN and www.miltontennis.com for more details about events planned throughout the 2023 celebratory season.
