Whiteoaks Park Tennis Club is the largest city-owned community tennis club, located in the heart of Lorne Park, Mississauga. For over 60 years, we have been an active, vibrant, and well-organized tennis club serving Mississauga and its surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide a friendly and welcoming environment for tennis enthusiasts while promoting the growth of the sport through quality instruction and organized activities for all skill levels. 

Job Description: 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Certified Head Tennis Professional for the 2026 outdoor tennis season, with the potential for continued employment in the 2027 season. This position reports to the President and runs from April to early November. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tennis, be a team player, work independently, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Flexibility is required to coach on weekdays and weekends. Excellent communication skills across all age groups, a commitment to enhancing coaching standards, and a positive impact on members' lives are essential qualifications. 

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum Certified Coach 2 / Club Pro 2 certification
• Current and up-to-date TPA Certification with proof of insurance (mandatory)
•  Experience coaching both adults and juniors
• Up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Police Background/Criminal Check
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Friendly, caring, outgoing, punctual, reliable, with a willingness to improve and spend the entire day on court
• Flexibility to coach during daytime, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to create programs content for all lessons.
• Ability to run Summer Camps, Group Lessons and Private Lessons 
• Ability to play with all skill levels up to 5.0
• Help run club tournaments
• Experience hiring and managing coaches for private and group lessons or kids programs
• Provide required equipment to run private and group lessons or kids programs
• Willingness to support club teams selection and member rating request as needed
