About the Club: 

Kew Gardens Tennis Club (KGTC) is a vibrant seasonal community club nestled in Toronto’s scenic East End Beaches. Our facility boasts 10 well-maintained courts, including 5 hard courts and 5 clay courts, providing an ideal environment for tennis enthusiasts.

Responsibilities: 

• Coach junior and adult players across all skill levels, offering personalized attention through private lessons, group sessions, programs, and summer camps.
• Assist with and organize tournaments & leagues.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Tennis Professional and team to enhance the club’s coaching initiatives.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate who is:

• Punctual, reliable, organized, and capable of working independently and within a team.
• Strong in communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Personable and outgoing, with a friendly and energetic demeanor.
• Skilled at engaging students and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Professional in interactions with club members, program participants, and fellow staff.
• Flexible with hours, available on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications:

• Tennis Canada Club Pro 1 certification or higher
• Minimum of 3 years of club coaching experience.
• Active TPA Membership
• Current Police Record Check

Duration: Mid-April to mid-October 2026
Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience
