This position is for a full-time coach who wants to develop a successful career as a Leader & Tennis Professional. This position is in the Recreation Services Department and will be reporting to the Tennis Director. The hours will vary according to the operational needs of the Club. A retainer for the administrative portion of the role will be included.
Job Description
- Coach a full range of group and private lessons to members
- Create and develop lesson plans for all levels and ages within the junior program
- Invoicing and Billing of all lessons taught
- Attend team meetings as required
Requirement and Qualifications
- High energy, enthusiastic, caring, and great with kids
- Willing to coach the full range of levels and ages of players at the club (i.e. juniors, adults, beginner-competitive)
- Experience in developing lesson plans.
- Passionate about developing the love of the sport for all.
- Open to pursuing further certification and professional development opportunities.
- Coach 2 or Club Pro 2 Certified with Tennis Canada
- Minimum 3 years of coaching experience
- University degree in kinesiology, teaching, marketing, business, and sports management is an asset
- Current Criminal Record Check
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
