Tennis Southland is a non-profit community oriented organization that coordinates all tennis throughout the province of Southland. Our aim is to get people out and active.
Job Summar:
- We're looking for an energetic tennis coach to work throughout the region running junior programs, and occasional adult clinics and proviate lessons. This role suits someone who enjoys working with kids, is confident and experiences enough to run all types of coaching either on an independent basis or with the help of a small team of junior coaches (private & group classes, juniors & adults, in scholl tennis etc.)
- We provide you with accommodations, a vehicle and already organized schedule (no hunting for clients when you arrive. You'll be welcomed to communities that will treat you like a rockstar. This roles is ideal for someone that is outgoing, a bit adventurous and hoping to follow the sun (escape Ontario winter).
Requirements:
- TPA instructor certification (or equivalent-ITF level 1, etc.)
- Expereince working with children aged 5-14
- Legal right to work in NZ or a passport holder. We will help facilitate this.
- First Aid/CPR (Asset, not mandatory)
- Experience as coach and as player, that can be passed onto students (adults & juniors)
- Punctual and organized
