  • Work Schedule:
    • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Evening and weekend work may be required

Wages & Benefits

  • Wage: $38 – $43 (junior) per hour (based on experience and certification)

Job Duties

  • Provide high-performance hitting sessions for competitive tennis players (junior and adult)
  • Support the High-Performance Program under the Director of Tennis
  • Assist in athlete development, match preparation, and training plans
  • Maintain consistent, high-intensity on-court performance standards
  • Work collaboratively with coaching staff and independently as required
  • Adapt training sessions for athletes up to UTR 11 level
  • Ensure a safe, professional, and positive training environment

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum Certified Club Pro 2 and/or Coach 2 (Tennis Canada or equivalent)
  • Current Tennis Professionals Association (TPA) certification with valid insurance
  • Experience coaching high-performance athletes (juniors and adults preferred)
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Background Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to train, rally wand compete with players up to UTR 11 level
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work, days, evenings, and weekends

Education & Experience

  • Education: Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education in kinesiology, sports science, or related field is an asset
  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of coaching experience in a high-performance or international competitive tennis environment preferred.

Language Requirement

  • English (required)

Transportation / Travel Information

  • Public transportation is available
  • Willingness to travel for tournaments/events is an asset
