Lead Head Tennis Coach - Junior Development
Location: Thornhill Park Tennis Club & Garnet A. Williams
Position Type: Spring & Summer Position with potential for full time
Application Deadline: May 1, 2026
Position Details:
Hourly rate: $50 - $70 hourly commensurate on experience.
30-35 hours per week or more. The chance to lead and develop junior programming for our club with additional revenue opportunities.
Requirements:
- Tennis Canada Instructor certification (Coach 1 an asset)
- Strong skill set in working with red ball, orange ball, and green ball programs
- Experience working with mini nets, has ability to lead and guide other coaches
- Energetic and passionate coach who loves to help kids grow and improve
- Reliability and communication skills are a must
- Ability to implement a progressive training model centered on cooperative rallying and coordination, rather than stagnant ball feeding and lines
