Kew Gardens Tennis Club (KGTC) is looking for certified tennis instructors for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2023 season from May - September with additional opportunities to coach in the fall. Candidates should be capable of coaching and managing small groups.
ABOUT US
KGTC is in Toronto’s East End Beaches Community. We are in a beautiful beach setting with 5 hardcourts and 5 hartru courts. KGTC is a community club open from May to November.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Instructors will be available for the 2023 Spring/Summer season with opportunities in the Fall. Coaches will report to the Director of Tennis Operations. The ideal candidates should embody a passion for tennis, work well within a team environment, can work independently and have a strong work ethic, with a flexible schedule to coach Saturday mornings, Spring After School Programs and weekly Summer Camps throughout the spring/summer. Selected candidates should have good communication/interpersonal skills with juniors and the ability to follow instructions.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- TPA Certified Instructor (Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience)
- current and up to date TPA Certified with insurance proof (mandatory)
- experience coaching juniors
- up to date Vulnerable Sector Police Background/Criminal Check
- current First Aid/CPR
- friendly, caring, outgoing, punctual, reliable
- flexibility to coach Saturday Mornings, After School and Summer Camp
Remuneration value chart will determine compensation.
