Davisville Tennis Club (DTC) is looking to hire an assistant tennis pro.DTC is a 50-year-old 600-member club, a very active and social community tennis organization operating in the heart of Toronto (Mt. Pleasant and Davisville). Over the course of summer months, we endeavour to give our members a truly unique and positive experience that comes from sharing moments and time with your DTC friends.
Job Description:
The assistant pro position will go from mid April to October. The ideal candidate will be able to work weekends, early morning and evenings. As the assistant pro, the main role will be to teach after school, summer camps, adult clinics and private lessons. Remuneration will be based on experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Club Pro 1 (equivalent)
- Current and up to date TPA Certified with insurance proof (mandatory)
- Experience coaching both adults and juniors
- Up to date Vulnerable Sector Police Background/Criminal Check
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Friendly, caring, outgoing, punctual, reliable, willingness to improve and be on court for multiple hours
- Flexibility to coach early morning, daytime, nights, and weekends
- Ability to play with all levels up to 5.0
