Vice Chair, Finance & Administration
Jeannette is the Vice-Chair, Finance & Administration, and President of Sir Winston Churchill Park Tennis Club, a not-for-profit tennis club serving 1300 members.
Jeannette runs a post-graduate certificate program in the Film and TV Business and instructs in a post-secondary Broadcasting program at Centennial College, taming a cohort of college students destined for jobs in the production industry. In her broadcast past she moved to television and the documentary industry after a successful decade as a computer applications consultant in Montreal, Brussels, London and Tokyo. As a senior consultant, Jeannette was responsible for project development, marketing, programming, team management, teaching and advising on large system software. She originally trained as an actuary in the United Kingdom, which led her into computer software systems.
In her spare time, she plays far too much tennis. She's an indentured servant to two dogs, has a dark obsession with Scrabble and used to play Bridge full time. Jeannette has travelled extensively and “speaks tourist” for major areas in Europe, Asia, Africa and America.
