  • What is a Tennis Pathways Welcome Centre?

Tennis facilities meeting certain basic requirements may become a Pathways Welcome Centre and benefit from the incentives offered by Tennis Pathways to grow tennis in your community.

Through our website www.tennisontario.com, potential players can find out which Welcome Centre is nearest to them offering introductory instructional programs. Your facility or program name does not change; you simply become part of a network of Welcome Centres welcoming new players to the game. Our goal is to have Welcome Centres in every community throughout Ontario, growing tennis one community at a time.

What incentives are offered by Tennis Pathways?

    1. Your facility and programs can receive free exposure at Tennis Pathways events, Welcome Centres are encouraged to attend Pathways Try events such as community festivals, where thousands of people can try tennis for free.
    2. Free listing on www.tennisontario.com promoting your facility and its programs
    3. Wilson tennis racquet and Dunlop ball discounts, subsidizing of expenses and instructor certification courses and fliers.
    4. Your program is supported by the OTA in an effort to get more people to play tennis and stay in the game. You can do your part to grow the sport by making your facility and its programs part of our Tennis Pathways Centre network.
