Tennis Toronto Junior Doubles League
This league is an introduction for Juniors into interclub play,
teaching juniors good sportsmanship and how to be ambassadors for their
club both at home and away.
The purpose of the junior doubles league format is to introduce boys
and girls to tennis competition in a fun format and teach them in a
playing situation about positioning and the tactics of doubles play.
Matches are played Saturdays from 5 to 7 pm during May and June. There
are no matches scheduled on the Victoria Day weekend. In addition to
the regular schedule there will be a Final, flighted tournament at the
end of the schedule in June to finish the season. Teams consist of 6 -
Under 12 players and 6 - Under 18 players plus spares. League players
may only represent one OTA member club per season.
This is a grassroots league designed for seasonal club players and OTA
"rookie" level players. League standings and results will be posted on
the Ontario League System starting in 2008.
If your club has an entry level Junior Program talk to your pro and
make sure they are entered. To download an application form to enter a
