The Ontario Tennis Association (OTA) is the
largest tennis association in Canada, and among the top 5 largest in North
America. There are plenty of
opportunities to choose from that will suit the needs of all levels of
sponsorship. Tennis is on the uprise
and has seen a boom in both interest and player involvement. There is no better way to reach the tennis
market in Ontario than through the OTA. Now we have what to get excited about! |

| TOURNAMENTS |
The
OTA sanctions 300 tournaments a year all across Ontario, with age categories
ranging from under 10 to over 85. Available title sponsorship or associate sponsorship for any of these
tournaments can be arranged by the OTA for partners willing to support the
event by way of financial contributions or the donation of product as
prizes.Opportunity for direct contact
with tennis participants and booth displays are available to sponsors at the
events.
Marquee Provincial Tournaments:
Under 14, 16 & 18 Junior Circuits

The circuit season runs from January through November and culminates with the OTA
All Stars Championship in November.A running tally is kept throughout the circuit and a circuit champion will be
determined at the end of November, after 5 weekends of tournaments.These circuits boasted over 3,456
competitors this past year.Currently,Head/Tyrolia is the sponsor of the Under 14 circuit.

The Ontario Junior
Closed Provincial Championships (Indoor)
The Ontario Junior Closed Provincial Championships, held in March, is the highlight
of the junior indoor tournament schedule for the over 300 participants. Results from this event heavily factor in
the selection of Team Ontario, which represents Ontario at the Indoor
Nationals. The championships also award competitors the most points, of the indoor tournament schedule, towards their
provincial OTA rankings.

The Ontario Junior Closed Provincial
Championships (Outdoor)
The Ontario Junior Closed Provincial Tennis Championships is the Ontario Tennis
Association`s premier junior tennis event of the summer season. For many participants this competition is
the highlight of their competitive schedule as a Provincial Champion is
determined within each age category (Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16,
Under 18).
For the past 30 years the Kew Gardens Tennis Club, located in the Beaches area of
Toronto, has hosted this junior tennis competition. Due to the over whelming
popularity of the event, additional primary sites, such as the Toronto Lawn,
Donalda, and Sir Winston Churchill Tennis Club, have been added. The event takes place over the first two weeks
of July. The tournament is also used for the selection of Team Ontario to represent the province at the national
championships (a month later). The championships include a variety of social activities, a player barbecue,
extensive media coverage, and spectator interest. Over 100 media outlets have participated in the event, including
City TV, Global, The Toronto Star and The Toronto Sun.

event.
The Ontario Open Provincial Championships
(Outdoors)
The Ontario Open boasts Ontario’s highest level of play. Top ranked juniors and adult players compete head to head for
national ranking points in the "Open" category, in the month of August. The 2004 event was once again held at the
Rideau Tennis and Squash Club in Ottawa, and saw over 300 players compete. Prize money and product were
awarded to all champions.

The Ontario Senior Provincial Championships
(Outdoor)
The Ontario Senior Provincial Championships are held at the Boulevard Club, in
Toronto, in the middle of July. Age categories range from over 35's to over 75's.Last year saw over 200 competitors.
These championships provide national ranking points, and attract
competitors from across the province. Competitors include those with top ten world senior rankings.

TEAM ONTARIO

Team Ontario members consist of juniors from the U12, U14, U16, U18 age categories,
who reside in Ontario, and who have been
selected to represent the province at the national championships. To say that Team Ontario is the dominating
team at the national championships is an understatement. Team members compete all over the world in
international events including satellite tournaments and the World Youth
Cup. The team also includes members
who are ranked in the top 50 on the ITF world rankings. |  |

OTA ALL-STARS TEAM
|
|
A smaller, more high-profile branch of Team Ontario is the All-Stars team. The OTA identifies high performance athletes
in Ontario and recognizes their achievements by placing them on the team. With the help of a title sponsor, the OTA
will offer support, coaching, and travel for participants. The team will not be restricted to juniors. Team activities on the All-Stars schedule
will be international competitive tours, a schools program, community service,
as well as All-Star team training and educational camps. Team sponsors will receive exposure through
this program, and through other OTA marketing vehicles. |  |

OTA MARQUEE EVENTS
The OTA Wall /Smash Cage
The
OTA Wall is a portable fibreglass structure, which is 28ft X 14ft
in size.It is transported to a number of promotional sites throughout Ontario, and provides the general public with
the opportunity to experience the great game of tennis. The Smash Cage serves a similar purpose, but
allows participants to test out their tennis serve, and lets them practice
their aim. In 2003, over 35,000 adults and children had the chance to experience tennis because of these interactive
tennis programs.

- Community events at TD Centre, Scotia Bank Plaza, and Yonge-Eglinton Centre for tennis
event promotions
OTA Members' Day
One day each year is declared OTA Members’ Day. In the Toronto area, OTA Members’ Day at Sporting Life takes place at
the Yonge St. location, as well as the Sherway Gardens location. OTA members receive a prize-pack, as well as
discounts at the Sporting Life stores. Last year saw close to a 1000 OTA members and their families come
out for the event. Promotion leading up
to the event included a write up on the weekly news release, mention on tennisontario.com web site, as well as a
Sporting Life advertisement in Ontario Tennis magazine. Sporting Life is the title sponsor of this
great annual event.

OTA Members Day through product donation.
Tennis Development Centres
There are currently over 21 Tennis Development Centres
(TDC) which are active in the development of youth
in the sport of tennis, both recreationally and competitively. These centres are promoted by the OTA to
young players seeking a place to learn how to play tennis or enhance their
skills. These training centres are
mandated to provided training and lessons for all age, skill, and economic
levels.

OTA Tennis Fairs
The OTA Tennis Fair travels to various
member tennis clubs across the province to promote the sport. Its inception began over 13 years ago. Interactive games, prizes, clinics and
promotions are a part of every event. The Tennis Fair has been exposed to over 200 tennis clubs and 4,000
participants over the past 3 years. In
2003, over 80% of the Fairs were delivered in the GTA. The breakdown is typically about 2:1 adults
to juniors. OTA sponsors may include promotional materials, signage, displays
or product at these fairs. The strength
of this program is its reach to every corner of the province. (The OTA
contracts a full-time coordinator for this program). Wilson Sports and Dunlop Sport are sponsors of the Tennis Fair.

CORPORATE PROMOTIONS PLANNING
The OTA will co-ordinate cross-promotional opportunities with its other sponsors
and contacts if it is in the best interests of the companies involved and the
association.
